    I recently had the wonderful opportunity to interview Lauren K. Alleyne, the author of “Difficult Fruit”, a gripping poetic collage of her life’s journey thus far.     MA’s Playhouse Artist highlight

    MA’s Playhouse artistic associate R’kardo St Von will be belting out his cool jazz tones when he opens for Tesanne Chin in the Tobago Jazz Experience 2014.  R’kardo who was showcased in MA’s Playhouse “Nostalgia: Memories of a Topical Past” and more recently, “A Tribute to the Masters, A Kaiso Jazz Experience”,  grew up in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. His passion for music and performance was developed by an eclectic exposure to different genres from the early age of 8.
