    David Tulloch “A Helping hand goes along way”

    Talented and brilliant, Jamaica observer news recognizes David Tulloch as a writer, composer, director, producer…Tulloch wears many hats in the theatre industry. His vision for Probemaster Entertainment is not only to produce more plays, but to provide an opportunity for newcomers like Bryce, Marlon Brown and Candice Tomlinson Minott to showcase their talent.     National Black Theatre Festival

    The National Black Theater Festival in held June 13th in Winston-Salem, North Carolina was a complete and compassionate, illumination and examination of Black life via the theatre. The festival’s official commencement is an opening-night gala and awards ceremony that rivals the pomp and circumstance of any Hollywood red-carpet event. This gala is hosted by A-list celebrities like: Maya Angelou, Lamon Rucker (Meet the Browns), Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Game), and Ted Lange (Love Boat).     David Tulloch Playwright of the Week

    David Tulloch was born in Jamaica in 1981. This gifted young man, with his energetic passion for life, has already distinguished himself as a performer of note, award winning poet, award winning writer and playwright, producer, singer and composer. Even as he continues to hone an obvious gift for writing, several of his plays have been successfully produced and include the JMTC’s “Boardwalk in Broadway”, “The Glass Slipper”, and “Rockin’ Romeo”.     So The Nailhead Bends

    Working on Nostalgia

    Looking back is always a bit hazy, but no matter what struggles or joys lay in our past we often look on them fondly knowing that they have helped shape who we are today. Taking a look back on this production, an overwhelming sense of gratitude fills me. Working with actors from beginning to end was an invaluable experience. This piece was a collaborative effort on the part of several playwrights including myself and so it was something that was near and dear to my heart.
